ChaBil is a boutique children’s clothing brand born from a love of timeless Danish design and a deep respect for nature. We create unique, playful pieces that celebrate childhood through clean lines, hand-drawn illustrations, and distinctive patterns - all designed in-house with care and creativity.

We carefully source organic materials and work exclusively with certified suppliers who share our values for environmental responsibility and sustainability. Every garment is thoughtfully crafted to be gentle on your child’s skin and kind to the planet.

Every ChaBil collection begins with an original idea and a hand-drawn sketch. Our illustrations, characters, colours and details are all developed in-house, giving every piece its own unmistakable ChaBil identity.

Inspired by Danish design, we bring together cosy colours, thoughtful simplicity and a playful dash of fun. The result is boutique children’s clothing that feels personal, distinctive and unlike anything you will find elsewhere.

From the fabric and fit to the smallest finishing detail, quality matters throughout. We create boutique pieces that children can feel comfortable in and families can enjoy, cherish and pass on.

For nine incredible years, New Zealand became my home, igniting my passion for design and nurturing my creative spirit.

Meet Stine - The Heart Behind ChaBil

Creativity has always been part of my life. I grew up in Copenhagen and later followed my passion for design to the Fashion & Design School in Christchurch. But it was becoming a mother to Charlie and Billie that gave my creativity a new and deeply personal purpose.

ChaBil takes its name from them, and it grew from a simple idea: to create children’s clothing that feels more thoughtful, more personal and more distinctive than something mass-produced.

I wanted to bring together the things that matter most to me - beautiful Danish design, cosy colours, playful details, high-quality organic materials and clothing that children can feel completely comfortable wearing.

Every collection begins in-house with an idea, a sketch or a hand-drawn illustration. Each character and detail is created to add imagination and personality, giving every ChaBil piece a story and identity of its own.

As a mother, I care deeply about what children wear, how it feels against their skin and how it is made. Quality, comfort and responsible material choices are therefore not finishing touches at ChaBil. They are part of every decision from the very beginning.

ChaBil is my way of creating something joyful for children, meaningful for parents and a little kinder to the world they will grow up in.
